Any thoughts on the board. It pretty much ticks all the boxes. I see most boards with stock PBT caps as a waste as I will most likely be buying new caps later now but I quite like the font on the keys.

Turn off: Pad printed keycaps
Ouch. I guess the Big Sister (oni, in Korean) has learned to conserve her money?
-
I've heard its quality is as good as Filco's, doubt a bit, but I'll try it anyway once it's released.

They're lasered PBTs.

I'd probably rank it with newer Duckies. Some may disagree, but I'd rank it above the QFR. Filco... Not quite IMO. I would only be mildly annoyed if someone replaced my daily Ninja with an Oni. That's mostly have to do with the stupid angle and stabilizers.

They're wrong.
Edit: I'll see Mr KBT tonight. I'll confirm again in person.

You're from Taiwan? By Mr KBT, you meant 花大?

They are 100% pad printed, I have the One. I really like it though. I have no issues with quality on mine, and really like the overall feel of the keycaps, you do notice the legends. I don't rest my fingers on the keys, but if you do it my bother you. Color really works for me too, it is really matte, almost no specularity to the keys compared to the usual. LEDs are really hidden too, hardly can tell if they are on, which I count as a good thing. I is really solid and stiff, more so than any of the other boards I have. Can't compare to a Filco though, never even typed on one. Not sure about durability of the legends, only had mine for a few weeks now. I would say it is a step up from the QFR I have though.

1. I am in Taiwan.
2. Yes, we live close.

Are you calling them pad printed because of the raised legends? That cannot be used as indicator for different legend techniques. The lasering technique is called laser foaming, which produces lighter colored raised legends. You can tell if it is lasered by if it has a rough surface. Pad printing generally has a shiny smooth surface.
-
Ah that is cool then, didn't even know there was such a thing as laser foaming. Surface is definitely rough. I stand corrected. They didn't look like the laser in-filled or just lasered pbt (the pink like the KBC) that I had on hand so i jumped to pad printing. Any other keycaps with the same process?

For PBTs, Ducky has them. There are probably others.
ABS, tons.
POM, obviously Cherry. I never played with a POM Keycool or Noppoo, though I'd imagine they use it too.
I am not sure what they used for the Poker PBTs. Ducky also had the tan (they called it gold) legend PBTs. Could be the laser lightening technique, or early form of foaming. I don't know :p
Edit: I kinda forgot about the legend thing until I got home. Oops. Um ya, there are always more interesting things to talk about than legends ;o We did talk about legends for the Pro, but that's another story.

I'm thinking of getting a cheap and good TKL as a show case of all these keycaps I've ordered: R4, R5, Penumbra. Today I have a Poker 2 MX Blues and is rather pleased with the board. Poker ONI is the TKL I'm eyeing. And it's kinda difficult to find and I found one today for around $100.
My question:
1. Is ONI as good as Poker 2? Searching GH seemed to give me threads that doubts it's quality due to people's opinion of the Pure and Race.
2. Will these SPH taller caps fits the ONI. Is it base on standard key cap size?
-
Are they keycaps made from the same place as Poker II stock keycaps? Also I'd assume it's the same on KBT ONE (full size)?
They should really sell the keycaps on its own, I'm typing on my Poker II now and I really enjoy the feel of it. :)

The layout seems to be standard. So finding keycaps should not be a problem

I'm more concern of the space bar, really.
Here's a photo of the space bar from Poker ONI. Found this from Google search. Looks standard 6.25 space bar to me. Anyone with a Poker 2 that can testify? (My Poker 2 is in the office now, no access)

I would guess that it is 6.25.

How does this compare to Leopold FC700R

The question is: does it have an ISO alternative? :)
