Title: Pretty addicted, but awesome!
Post by: Gupgup on Sun, 09 December 2012, 14:04:52
I am already addicted to everything that has to do with keyboards.. I hate it but love it so much.

I  am participating in a GB for keycaps and don't even have my KBT Poker (1 blue switches/1 red switches), but I can't pass up on the beautiful Klaxon keys. Oh well.

I thought about getting the simple QFR, but it just doesn't look cool. The Poker looks so compact and amazing, plus with the Klaxon keys I can only imagine how much better it will be.

Thank you! I'm a little confused as how I become part of Group buys. How long does it usually take for one to kick off. Such as ShakeR's "Poker Interest Check" GB. I posted on there but have no idea when or even if it will happen? Thanks!

Most people go for something a bit more conventional, like a QFR, when they are starting.  And some do not :)

Some group buys can take months to get off the ground.  Have to seek interest first, them take orders, then send invoices, collect all the payments, submit the order, wait for manufacturing, receive the keycaps (or whatever), sort them, post them out.  Some can run for 6 months or more.  Some, for simpler things, might be over in a month or two.

Patience is the key.
