code: EMCJHJJ232

Great price...I am currently using one at work and love it!
-
Thanks, alaricljs! I needed MOAR red switches...
-
Wow, this is awesome.
Any idea how long the code is valid for?
EDIT: Looks like it's valid until Dec 17th.

Just saw this. A really great deal. I think I might have to talk my wife into another "stocking stuffer"
Too bad the caps suck so bad.
-
Don't buy it for the keycaps, buy it for those switches. I have 104 in a baggie, 104 on a RK9000RE sitting in its box in my closet to be desoldered, and I'm about to have 208 more whenever UPS delivers these. Soon to be Phantom w/reds, KMAC Mini w/55g reds, GH60 prototype w/reds, and some spares for my next keyboard project.
On a related note, if anyone wants a Rosewill RK9000 without switches, let me know! :P
-
I've got a rosewill 9000 with blacks as my daily driver. Other than copious amounts of shine on the spacebar and where my thumb comes to rest on the case under the spacebar, once I got new caps on it works just great.

How much do you want for a Rosewill without switches?
-
$15 plus shipping?
I don't have any desoldered at the moment, but give me a few days and I'll have a couple ready. :)

I am not in a hurry. How much is shipping to CONUS? I wonder whether it could be cheaper without keycaps...
Do you need all the switches? I would like to take some to build that Rosewill.
-
Shipping to CONUS will be about $15. Keycaps won't make a difference.
If you want a Rosewill complete, just buy the one in the link in the OP from Newegg. They are only $55, with free shipping. :D

I have about 50 switches and several sets of keycaps and do not know how to use them  Maybe I should wait for another GP for DIY keyboards...

Thank you. Please take me into the interested list. :)

Sending it USPS Parcel Post should cut that price in half, no?
Downside is it's exceedingly low priority and usually takes 2 weeks.
-
How does this compare to the Cooler Master QuickFire Rapid w/ reds? I know they both use Costar stabilizers.
-
No shipping to NY, again!! Nice find tho.

True, but that would require that I pack one up and weigh it to get a true estimate.

I don't have a QFR, but I did use a Rosewill with reds for a couple months at work before I harvested its switches for my Phantom. I think they are very nice keyboards, especially if you're looking for a full size and not a TKL. The only problem some have experienced is that the USB connector would break off of the PCB. I never had a problem with mine, but then again I don't move my keyboard around.
-
Nice deal. This is worth its weight in switches alone. It's just tedious to desolder.

Yeah, stupid ROHS. If you want to ship one to me, I'll bring it along if we ever meet up.
-
Could anyone get me one as proxy? We cannot get those in Europe :(
-
Nice find. I just ordered one for work. For $54 shipped I don't mind if someone greases it up with french fry fingers or dusts its with powdered sugar from a jelly donut....all true stories.

Anyone??

You sure you want to pay more in shipping than the board costs, after discount? But maybe it's a way to get one at a reasonable price for you. I'll proxy it for you, but it's going to cost around $55-65 just for shipping from my address to Europe.

Really?? Last time someone shiped a QFR for $28 from Canada. Is that high the shipcost from TX?
-
Yes, shipping to international destinations from the US is expensive. I have shipped keyboards to Korea (same price as to Europe), and never paid less than $50 for shipping.

In the USA, a QFR is about 3.5 Lbs shipping weight (I know this for a fact) which means it can go by First class mail international, which isn't too expensive: maybe $30 or so.
Larger keyboards in their box are over this 4-Lb limit, and pretty much have to go by Priority, which would be $40-$50 or so.
I'd be happy to proxy it for you as well, but at that price, I don't know if it's worth it.
-
Wow, good deal, my first mechanical keyboard. Was skeptical about the usb connecttion, but seems like they fixed it. I'll check inside to make sure, seems like an easy fix to solder yourself.
-
I recieved mine in the mail today. Switches feel a little scratchier than on my red switch filco...maybe its psychosomatics at work?

I only have 1 Rosewill Red in my posession. I got it back when it was on sale at Amazon for $70.00. It is scratchy enuff that I decided to get a 2nd one for $55.00 and send it straight off to be lubed. Once lubed they are supposedly buttery smooth. I will let u know once I get it.
I have had my Rosewill for 19 days and the USB port still hasn't broken yet.
