Hello,
Are any cases for TKL boards compatible with others? For instance, would I be able to put a Filco case on a ducky dk9087 shine? Thanks :)

Generally, no. The position of internal screws and posts, as well as spacing between key groups are different between brands.
Leopold <-> Filco are different in spacing and internally.
Filco <-> CM Storm Rapid are incompatible because of internal case dimensions.
It is easier with some vintage full-sized keyboards, where spacing between key groups is always 1 or 1/2 key. I have been able to put a Chicony into a Cherry case, but it took a bit of work on the inside.

So with some cases where the spacing of keys is the same, it would potentially be possible to reshape the internals somewhat, provided I don't damage the pcb or controller?

I think the filco PCB would probably fit in the Cmstorm case, but the real incompatability comes from having the standoffs in different places.
I am pretty sure the filco TKL is compatible with a PLU-ML-87 case. I'm not sure about the ducky, but I rather doubt it.
If you're willing to modify the internals by clipping the standoffs and re-gluing them, you can probably get it working, though you may run into an issue with the arrowkey-part being slightly differently spaced from the main cluster. If i recall correctly, on the keyboards where the spacing is different, it's usually only a little, so you can probably get it still.
I guess it all depends on how much work you want to put into this project.
