This time, with my student loans, I am only going to buy one toy. Last year I bought too much and went broke soon after receiving them, but then I did not have a baby on the way and everything I bought, I still use daily. This time I will be a lot more responsible and and I'll blow a tenth of what I did last year. So here is what I want:
The Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro 2. I am thinking black, but I am undecided on whether to get the printed keys or the blank. The black plastic with the black writing looks awesome, but I really don't need printing, as I have adequately proven to myself. I don't know, all I know is that I prefer the black one to the white, which is brand new for me.
I know iMav has said he has a HHKB, so tell me - is yours a Pro 2, a Pro 1 or an HHKB, and what color / printing scheme do you have on it? $250 is a chunk of change for me so I want to get eh right one. Plus, they aren't even being made anymore, so I want to buy a new one while I still can.
The only place I've found that has them is GeekStuff4You.com, can you recommend any different suppliers?

I own the HHKB Pro v.1. It is the black model with blank key tops. I've been over here in Iraq for almost a year, and my HHKB Pro is sitting in my home office in Wisconsin, so it is difficult for me to provide feedback regarding it. :)
I believe the v.2 was out when I bought my v.1 model...but the Fujitsu yahoo store never made mention of it.
I find it difficult recommending anything purchased with student loans...I married into a TON of student loan debt. But I'm not bitter or anything. :roll: If you do purchase it, I expect a review!

It's not like I asked for more loans to get this, I am just getting the standard amount. Plus, I am not planning on getting married (ever) so that isn't really an issue with me.

Don't take it the wrong way. I was just attempting a bit of humor. I understand the need for student loans...and as long as they are paid back, I have ZERO issues with them.

Gotcha. School is hard as a non-trad, and every bit helps. It is good that I have had the same job since before I started college, to.

Honestly you can get a lot of good options for cheap, mine is $30.
