I thought green alts were pretty common on Ms of that age. My old one (1990: Given away to a worthy person) had them (also, the sysrq front printing, I believe)
I don't know about IBM, but don't new unicomp cases come blank like that..?

My 1989 M has green alts. Bought it used and dirty for around $35, fixed it up shiny and looking new for 1/10th the price...

It's not like this Model M is some weird variant without a label. Look closely at the pics and you'll see the oval space where the label should be. :-\

He did manage to sell one though. It might be time for you all to start ripping the IBM logos off your keyboards.
