Title: Ahoy
Post by: nimeco on Wed, 26 December 2012, 13:59:21
Got to know the Das Keyboard with blank keys and kept flirting with it for some time, until I found you guys and as someone said, got to know the rabbit hole.
Now after looking for more keyboards I can't take my eyes from the Yellow keycaps Filco (hi rowdy :p), which is my current quest.
No experience with mechanical keyboards as of now, neither got the chance to test any switches of any kind, so I'm going blindly here.
I had my mind set on a full size, but after reading what scythe (I guess that's him) said about having your keyboard centered properly and leaving the side clear for the mouse it made me have second thoughts.

Anyways, hi.

LOL keep your hands off my yellow keycaps !!1!1  :p

There is some merit to having a TKL from an ergonomic perspective as your mouse arm is not bent out from your body as much.  As long as you don't need a numpad, I'd say go for it.  I have both, and would definitely consider going TKL again.

And, as you are probably aware, the yellow Filco is available in TKL too.  I hope you can manage to get one, my search (in Australia meh) has been fruitless so far.

It is a nice yellow - no-one else does a yellow quite like it.

Oh, yeah, and welcome to Geekhack :)
