Honestly - it will gross you out - I just like eating silken Tofu right out of the carton [after obviously draining the water] and eating it as I would flan or rice pudding.
Maybe a step up in firmness I'll just put a little high quality soy sauce on it after it has reached room temperature.
Ma Po Tofu or deep fried tofu
In some Pho noodles. With sriracha. And all that other good sea food stuff that comes with Pho ^_^
I heard Tofu was bad for you because of the something something- estrogen...
Many of soy’s health benefits have been linked to isoflavones—plant compounds that mimic estrogen. But animal studies suggest that eating large amounts of those estrogenic compounds might reduce fertility in women, trigger premature puberty and disrupt development of fetuses and children.

This. Amen to that brother.
tofu any which way prepared by an asian is the best, seriously tofu is like a white person's kryptonite when it comes to cooking, do not eat tofu prepared by a white person or you'll end up hating tofu.

sounds like the farm raised salmon issue, where mercury is high cuz these farm raised salmon are being fed their own mercury laced brothers and sisters, it could be the type of soy that is the issue, i mean soy beans are grown with monsonto stuff right? so that may be the case. either way at least 1billion ppl consume soy every other day in the east and aside from sumo wrestlers, asians are the pillar of health, i mean heck it's still sad but my grandma passed away this year and she was 106, and that was due to a fall and a bad hip, who knows how much longer she could have had in china.
