Title: Taking off CM QFR case
Post by: akuJIWA on Mon, 31 December 2012, 21:59:24
Are there any guide to taking apart the CM QFR case? I have been trying to use the search function and couldn't find it. I was thinking to spray paint the case, harvest the switch and get ready for phantom.

Search up taking apart a Filco, same basic idea.  Might even beat you to it.

Litster did a vid...

I'm glad other people are gonna be converting QFR's!  I'll be putting my silver branded with blues under the knife and hopefully converting it to ergo-clears.  Of course I also had to order a backup all-black QFR in greens so I don't have to rush the conversion... yeah, that's how I'm gonna justify it.

The QFR is a good base for modding because it is cheap (leaving more cash for the extras), but also reasonable quality.
