so this thread of about getting ripped off and/or disappointed?
I'll tell you what a rip off is, wedding photographers; spent $1500 bucks, total waste (not the marriage, just the photographer)

Dis is somewhat true, I love the exterior of Apple products. They are very streamlined and such, but for the internals and OS? Ugh.
Back to the OP, I am quite disappointed in my Turtle Beach headset that I got as a bundle with my XBox a few years ago, yet I continue to use it because it has a convenient microphone and headphones right there.

iPad. Also, I am not saying the product it bad, just the price. I love the iPad mini. I just feel the price is a bit steep, as with most Apple products.

Lol, not yet. I had a water damaged book. The university would buy one to replace it, $115. However, you would also send them the exact copy yourself within a time frame. $3 for the boot and $11 for express shipping to me and another $8 to ship to the school. Only a $93 dollar difference

Yea, but in the case of HHKB, it's EliteKeyboard that's doing the ripper off-in' , not the parent producer

Gotta say, key caps are expensive... Cherry Dye Subs and what not seem like a rip off sometimes, especially when I got an entire Graphite set, pretty dirt cheap.

It's sometimes good to be somewhere else than in the US... and don't need *any* textbooks at all.

Those health insurance policies that doesn't cover anything.
Yeah, agreed with the cherry esc. Having paid $250 for it only to have it mass produced for $5 will be a total ripoff.

I think VERY few people actually paid $250 for those caps. there might've been like 20 tops..
-
That's still $5000 in 20 key caps. Heh.

Anything for 99p ($1) off eBay, they don't even do 99p's worth of a job. Go large or go home...or go to work and get paid, then get more expensive stuff.
I am talking about the few usb cables//earphones//etc
-
Parking fee at hospital and airport. They know you don't have a choice so they blow up the price.
House phone, cable TV, Internet service, cell phone plans are way over priced in North America compare to Asian countries.
Worst ever is popcorn / drink at movie theatre. $5 for coke? Like seriously?
-
$10 laptop bag. It was just a bag without any padding.
-
Final Fantasy XI. They charge you every time you freaking blink. And it's easy to make the game not work. Guh, horrible experiences with that game.

Urgh yes, just joined Uni, $800 worth of textbooks for the year
Bought a $300 remote control car once, private seller, broke the first day I used it... In half.... Back end of the car dropped and the front went rolling off... Motor sitting on the ground still running. Now I think about it, it's quite funny. When it happened definitely not so.
