Anyone know what could be causing this? my keyboard is no longer working, completely out of the blue.
-
My brand new Rosewill keeps doing that but its temporary. It is caused by the cable connector being loose. The electrical connection keeps getting made and broken over and over and sometimes the lights come on and get stuck. Usually they just flash at me.
I donno if ur problem is the same.. But try wiggling the cable and pressing it in firmly and see if that helps.

Have you tried simply unplugging and replugging?
Sometimes my QFR will will light up and not work after my laptop comes on from hibernate/sleep.

Can you try the keyboard on a different computer? Or even simpler, have you tried rebooting? Has this keyboard got a detachable cable? If so, can you try a different cable?

I've had my Choc Mini "hang" (num lock frozen) on boot exactly once... a reboot solved it. Maybe also disable num lock enabled by default in the BIOS, if it's an option?

try direct solder to board if it doesn't go your way... that whole detachable cord thing is such a fad.. impractical...

Any luck with it out of the 3 threads on the issue you've created?

If it works on other computers, it might be worth trying a pci usb card another possibility is that a usb setting is on or off that isn't meant to be this seems a bit of an oddity though.
No one would recommend soldering on your motherboard but they would suggest solder on your noppoo but anyway since it works on other pcs this isn't an issue.

Still under warranty? RMA??

Did you try a different keyboard on the computer and it worked?
Maybe try a different USB port with the 'broken" keyboard.
