Hi from Tokyo everyone,

I just found this forum after breaking the Backspace key on my week-old Filco Cherry keyboard & googling around to see how to fix it.
All's well now!

Just switched back to a US-layout keyboard after 10 years of using only a Japanese one (finally had enough of SHIFT-7 to get an apostrophe). But after a decade I'd forgotten just how differently nearly all the special keys are placed. Trying to code in C and/or Javascript is driving me up the freakin wall. Best part is my laptop & all the other machines in my life are all still Japanese, so I have the joy of constantly switching between the two. Yes, I know I&m an idiot.

Anyway, glad to see there's a forum just for people who like real keyboards.
