Hi everyone!

I'm interested in DIY keyboards and have nostalgia for old computers so I combined this interests and created the MeC64 mechanical replacement keyboard for the C64 (http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/mec64-keyboard-t4522.html). Now I'm running a group buy (http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/mec64-kit-t4658.html) for a kit and if you like I'll assemble it for you for free.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Ah, the old C64 :)  My brother had one, then upgraded to an Amiga.

Were the keycaps really that tall?!?  I suppose they must have been, to fir all the glyphs on the side.

Actually, the size of the C64 case you could put a Raspberry Pi in there and run a C64 emulator ;)
