I'm new to the forum, but I've been an addict for over 10 years. I currently own these keyboards:
Kinesis Advantage
Kinesis Freestyle,
HHKB Lite
Realforce 87U Tenkeyless "Silent"
2 Unicomp Classic 104 buckling spring keyboards
2 Apple wireless keyboards
Macally Ice keyboard
Microsoft Natural 4000
Matias Quiet Pro
Microsoft Natural Elite
I just ordered the Matias tactile mini, and I can't wait to test it out. I have all these boards and for some reason i keep going back to the small apple wireless keyboards. Go figure. I'm not sure If i'm following the rules, but I'm probably going to be looking to sell a couple of my keyboards as soon as i get the street cred needed to post in the classified section.

Awesome collection! Glad to see you've joined the site! Welcome! And hope you don't get addicted to collecting caps! That is the real problem :p And possibly Korean custom boards.

Nice collection you got going there! Welcome to the club. :)

Ha! Yeah, caps scare me. That's one of the reasons i'm trying to unload my Realforce keyboard. I've seen way too many awesome boards with varied caps...makes me a little tempted.

Nice collection you got there, welcome to geekhack!!!

Welcome to Geekhack!
Nice collection, but if you've come here for help with your addiction, we can only really help to fuel it ;)

I've only been here a week or two and already bought 2 new keyboards and am setting up ordering some new custom key sets :( Its not an addiction, more a way of life. But anyhow, Welcome! and good luck.

"it's a way of life" - I'll have to try to remember that :))

Welcome!
What's your favorite board?

Hello John!
The first step is admitting your addiction.
I'd be interested in your feedback on your Kinesis keyboards. I've never met anyone that had one, but I've been looking at them online for years.

The Kinesis is beautiful! Once you get over the initial learning curve it's a joy to type with. My only problem with it, as a programmer, I mostly use TextMate, and there are some keyboard shortcuts that i use that require really awkward stretching/reaching for keys. Not a huge issue, but when i get in a groove it tends to reduce my productivity. I've been slowly transitioning to Sublime Text 2, and the same shortcuts are a little more accessible, so i may start using it again.
