Title: Cherry tenkeypad
Post by: volund on Sat, 19 January 2013, 18:53:34
I have a cherry G84-4700 USB tenkey pad, with ML style switches, I took it apart looking to do a sleeved cable on the unit, but ran into a slight issue.

after de-pinning the 5 wire block on the bottom of the PCB, the clips on the cable block lost much of their hold, and the wires keep slipping out.... does anyone know what these male connectors are known as? I'll put up pics ASAP.

I guess it is one of type commonly called JST connector, but finding the right one is a pain since there are a lot of different one that are very close with very small difference in size and pin pitch.
