i decided to buy my first mechanical keyboard
it comes down to:
-CM Storm QFR
or Filco
which Filco should i buy?
FILCO Majestouch NINJA
FILCO Majestouch 2
or FILCO Majestouch 2 Camouflage
-
Well, what do you want out of your keyboard? Are you comfortable going semi-otaku (the Ninja keycaps)? Nice thing about front-printed legends is that they never wear off, but in the long run front-printed PBT will be preferable. I think switch choice is more important than selecting keycaps that are better off replaced anyway.
Tenkeyless is nicer for gaming. Most computer users will unlikely need the keypad.
Also, hello, welcome to geekhack!

:D thanks for the welcome
i already decide to use mx blue switch, want to improve my typing :D
i see, so it came down to ninja or majestouch 2 . thanks

I personally like all these boards mentioned. Filco build quality is outstanding, but the CM storm QFR is a good board if you're working on a budget :).

I use a camo Majestouch 2 with blues quite a bit. Great keyboard.
-
yups, i've been thinking about budget too..
mech keyboard is a bit pricey for me , so for a long use maybe i should go with filco

Welcome to Geekhack!
Nothing wrong with the QFR - pretty much everyone who has one (including me) thinks they are great! There are probably as many problems reports with QFR as there are with Filco, but remember that they are many, many less problems than reported with other keyboards.
If you do want to go Filco, Then get camo if you like the camouflage colouring. Go ninja if you prefer otaku (more or less).
Remember that whatever one you get you can customise the keycaps later on.

They are not pricey... around $60-70 bux to start... At most $300-800 to finish..
Currently using a quickfire blue in vortex aluminum case with blank white pbt... That only set me back a mere $270..
I ordered that damn aluminum space bar, hopefully Feng gets well soon, so he could begin shipping again.. He got sick on an airplane.
So in the end, this whole keyboard is $304.00, as you see, not a whole lot at all...
People spend that much on groceries.

Filco Majestouch Ninja!
I just bought one of these and I'm loving it. Although they have that amazing blue one as well.
-
not to mention there was that $55 dollar for quickfire rapid blue on amazon... Super deal man, super deals.

You really can't go wrong with any of those boards to be honest. + 1 tp4tissue, at $55 for a QFR w/ blues that would be my choice!
