Post by: jooks1184 on Sun, 20 January 2013, 16:57:01
I just found this on mechanicalkeyboards.com. Wonder if it's new. Looks nice and PBT keycaps.

Edit: Forgot the link --> http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=185 (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=185)

i'm so over PBT.. still looking for a blank "pure" white PBT set.. The current ones sold by "KBC" are "purple/blue shifted"

Ducky has the whitest PBT caps I have seen. No grey, beige, blue or pink shift. They are white white.
9000 series is Ducky's newest line, and the white caps as stock option has not been available for that long, maybe a couple month. Before that only board that came with them was the limited Rabbit as far as I remember. They have been available seperate for a long time though thats true.

Do you have them? could you possibly post pics without flash, next to a 3 sheet thick stack of printer paper?

No. I got rid of them a long long time ago, when I decided I hated that profile and went strictly Cherry keycaps. They were whiter than paper. I do remember that for sure. Looked like pristine snow on a bright day.

Lies. Nobody's brought up Pantone or sRGB correctness, much less started a discussion about how a 93% sRGB display gives a false impression of true whites.

.. oops.

I know it's impossible to "match" a color, that's why I put multiple items in there for "comparison"
