Share some pics of your whips. No freds allowed.

My bike - built this one
frame: cult OS v3 21"
fork: probably a Fit?
cranks: profile
sprocket: tree 25 splined
bars: cult whatever 9" rise
stem: odyssey elementary v3 (this thing is cool but weird)
other parts worth mentioning... profile mini front hub laced to who knows what with spray-painted rainbow-y spokes. this wheel came off a bike i got on craigslist and is probably worth 80% of what i paid for that bike. i have odyssey team grips right now, they're softer than odi longnecks. bend that tech-77 lever to hell and back. odyssey evo2 brakes... if i'd known that the springfield was coming out i would have waited and paid 16 bucks instead of 60 but whatever... they're great brakes and i can nerd out on the spring adjustment.

that's a wild bike though, fun to ride? is there any point to a rigid lefty other than weight savings? the frame reminds me of the old SE quadangles:

Too late!  ;D   And sth, yeah it's really light and fun to ride.  Those wheels are 20" so that's an odd size.  I'm waiting for Revolights (http://revolights.com/) to come out in my size. lol

The front fork is odd, the seat seems really high and I don't like the "lines" of the bike. I really like a straight back bone when it comes to bikes

Specialized Rockhopper Expert Disc 29er (generic picture)
The only changes are seat, grips, King headset, Grip Shift, Atom Labs Trail King pedals and some alloy bar end plugs.  I would like a better shock (it works) and better wheels though (these are like wet noodles).

It's sized right, but the wheels are so big, I feel like a kid again when I ride it.  :D

Haha! I had to sell it.  Just way too much bike and something bad was bound to happen.  But damn it was a blast while I had it.

i've actually never ridden a motorcycle before. i have a puch newport but i don't ride it since it's not technically legal right now. planning on selling it to a friend who's more mechanically apt than i am.

My main ride these days:

An older Ti Lightspeed frame picked up from an engineer at Amazon. Don't know much about it other than it retains a classic road geometry and was probably custom made (58 1/2 cm ).
Chris King, DT Swiss, SRAM, Brooks, yadda yadda...

Wish I had a picture of it after all the modifications I made.  Next time I get a motorcycle it will probably be a Harley.  A lot more chill and I've just watched so much Sons of Anarchy.

1984 Trek 400
total bobish mishmash parts: dura ace hubs, hyperglide cassette, super record front derailer, SR custom cranks, 105 shifters, neato-nitto stem... pretty much everything else is nothing special though. i like this bike but i like bmx better :P

2006 Fisher Tassajara

Great frame, mediocre components. Changed the seat (Serfas gel, still a narrow saddle) and grips (Ergon contoured), added Cat Eye computer. Took off reflectors. Matte grey finish with black.

Need to get a road bike to pound out mega-miles. Rec trail along beach is about 17 miles one way.

nice! i love single speed... not least because i hate working on derailers, but mostly for simplicity, lack of failing parts, and cost.

Agreed. The simplicity and ease of maintenance are fantastic. The Sanderson was my first ever attempt at building a bike from the ground up. Really good experience, and the end result is great too. No derailers makes for an easy build :-)

Tried to continue the simple/rugged theme with other component choices too- mechanical disc brakes rather than hydraulic, rigid forks rather than suspension etc.

Have some great riding in Australian bushland, but would love to take on some tracks in US and Canada one day.

i was into BMX and freak bikes as a kid, no gearing necessary. that carried over when i started needing a bike to get around town and just built up single speed road bikes. now i'm back into BMX again but i'm slowly destroying my body and will have to go back to road bikes again. maybe i'll just throw a single speed wheel on the trek.
