>:D >:D
I just received what's supposed to be "original soldapullt deluxe"
However, it does not say soldapullt on it like my old one I used at school.
Does anyone know if they make rebrands? >:D
UDPATE... Called Edsyn. yes they make these for other companies.. specifically techni-tools. :D
NOT counterfeit.. Hurrayy....

Trooooolled. Where did you buy it?
-

The one I just bought doesn't say "soldapullt" on it..
It only says, Techni-tools..
Now, UNLESS edsyn offers "rebranding", I'd assume that Techni-tools is Selling a "GENERIC" solder-pump and is BORROWING, illegally the edsyn brand...

For any future buyers, Howard Electronics (http://www.howardelectronics.com/edsyn/solderpullt.html) is a good place to get Soldapullts. USPS priority is under $6 and there's a discount off the listed price once you add it to your cart and go check out.

I've bought solder from Technitools, they seemed legit.
-
yep ligit my says technitools as well

Well then it isnt a real soldapult.
-
I'm inclined to think the ones profosist and I got were "counterfeits"
They may be "generics" and they may work "just as well", don't know, haven't used mine, but they should not be selling them under edsyn soldapullt, because that's not what they are.
and you can see there's a DISTINCT missing Notch on the EDSYN soldapullt on the handle in the back,, while the generic one I purchased does not have said notch...

hmmm didnt get mine from techni tool

i mean i think you guys is real, Techni Tool is a large company and may have a thing with Edsyn, i have gotten things like wick, flux pen, mini-drivers, weller tips for my soldering station, and i think some other stuff from them and they seemed pretty professional.

id just call edsyn and see if techni tool is a licensed distributor which I bet they are
-
There's a difference between 'licensed distributor' and getting your name stamped on a similar/same design.

my guess is the technitool one is a genuine soldapult mainly because If they are knocked of their done really really well and I havnt seen any that close else where.
