Title: Do they still sell the KBT Race in non-LED?
Post by: Von Steve on Mon, 28 January 2013, 00:17:04
Deciding between one of these or a Noppoo Choc Mini for my 75% to play with. But the "retarded firmware" that the Noppoo is known to have kind of worries me a bit, but I also hate LED backlight cheeseboards so that's not an option for me. Anyone know if they still sell them?

Edit: Looking for MX Browns, ABS caps version.

Browns are apparently in short supply, KBT is always in short supply.

Being PCB mounted with no led's, swapping stems is easy, provided you have them. This might actually be your only option unless you find one used.

Used keyboards is kind of disgusting, because you just KNOW, that there's some and/or a good amount of invisible gentlemen jelly all over the damn thing.

Honestly, that's probably the least of your worries when using a used keyboard (and not just because of a short shelf life).

I clean mine with alcohol and ammonia when I get them used. Keyboards are some of the most germ infested items in a home or office. I carry alcohol based hand sanitizer with me on jobs.

I don't worry about the diseases, since we are lucky to live in America where there's obama care.. where if you get super sick, just quit your job, and obama gives you money..

It's the THOUGHT of the last guy, in front of his computer using that very keyboard, "browsing" so to speak...

THAT i can't stand...
