Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this particular board or a board in this price range. Love the layout and contemplating on getting it.

They're Cherry MY switches. Buy a G80 version.

G80-1838HPU you can get them from ambry (http://www.ambry.com/page/search.asp?search_mode=pn&partnumber=185367-001). Its a WAY nicer keyboard.

are these brown and is the short right sift a 1.75 or 2.0?

right shift is 1.75. board in OP is not Cherry MX.

G80-1838HPU is browns yes.

Holy C***, that is expensive... Get a tenkeyless Filco, Ducky, CM Storm QuickFire Rapid or similar instead. Those have MX switches.
The MY switches in the G81 series are widely disliked.
