I got that email as well and I ignored it as it seems rather strange. I was hoping someone would post here about it :D
-
yeah I also got the same one, when I renewed it, it said that the subscripton list was already full.. wtf?
-
I got it too. Figured Brad was switching mailing list providers due to the recent spam issues. I'll wait to hear from him.
-
Maybe they were switching provider of the emails and the old list was imported to the new system, but it sent out a notification to everyone as if they subscribed again.

I didn't receive an email like that. Just thought I would mention it since everyone else that has replied seems to have received one.
-
Whaddya know. Just received one a minute ago...do love the desktop email notifications.

I'm sorry folks - I feel terrible...I will try to fix this...
Le Sigh...

oh well. i looked at the email for 1 sec and clicked on the verification button without a second thought.
-
I get the mails everytime at my iCloud mailbox. Every time I feel the same thing as reaper, I need the keys that pop up on my screen....
-

THIS IS NOT SPAM - So no worries for clicking verify - and if you ignored it that is fine too, you will remain subscribed.
I can't say enough how sorry I am for this, it was a goof with the new Newsletter provider.
As soon as I get this set up properly, I will send an apology email with a chance to win free stuff.
-
awesome thanks for clearing it up :)

Spam or not. I like free:)
On a serious note, thanks for clearing it up i3oiler. Very professional with your work, as always.

The "Sorry for the Confusion" newsletter that went out a bit ago appeared in my junk (hotmail). Probably only because it was from a new provider so since I now marked it safe it will probably not go to junk next time.
-
I lack a spam filter on my client, however I never get spam on my main address anyway ;)

This is disappointing to hear. Mine did not go to spam this time on gmail so that was somewhat encouraging.
I would suggest that everyone add a rule to never send to spam emails from info@techkeys.us if you want to be sure to get them
