My baby was born yesterday, and it was like no other experience I've ever had. He is beautiful, and that unconditional love thing hit me instantly. Here is a pic, and I promice I'll do my best to not litter the site with pics of him.
His name is Evan James, 7 1/2 pounds and 20" long

My family is back at home and we're all healthy and [mostly] stable, and that gives me a calm I can't describe. The car ride home through a blizzard was slow and uneventful - just as I wanted it - we got baby inside, fed and changed, and now we are expecting company, but with the weather I wouldn't blame them for waiting a day to meet Evan. I'm finally back on the SMK85 and the baby boy is sleeping to it right now, and my life is just plain better. After a little freak-out break, I relieved the baby-mama from baby-duty [I call her that to her face, it's a joke between us, so don't be offended and don't think I'm a ****] I set up my 'Puter and now I feel so much better about everything.

Congratulation on the birth of your son. May he be blessed with an abundance of love and good health.

Thank you elmomax, if this boy is one thing, he's loved in this house.
