Title: Resizing apple partitions
Post by: Whiskey in the Jar-o on Thu, 06 December 2007, 15:27:24
I have a dual boot G4 Mini. The Ubuntu part is kind of dormant, especially since PPC support was discontinued. Is it possible to blow it away (including grub in the MBR ), and resize the main apple partition to use all the freed space? Without losing the data on the apple partition of course. I know I can do this in Windows with just the standard tools, but what about OS X?

I looked for a way to that myself on Intel Macs to no avail. Just get Carbon Copy Cloner and create a back up on a USB drive and zero your HDD.
