I have still not decided weather I want to buy a KBT ONI or a Filco Majestouch-2. Does anyone have any input on this? I am leaning towards the ONI because of the PBT stock keycaps and the general look of the board, but I have heard horror stories about Vortex/KBT boards so I am not sure.
Thanks

Stay away from Vortex at all cost, "IF YOU CAN"
Get Filco only if you tend to be "modding" in the future via "soldering"... Otherwise the improved PCB doesn't do anything for you..
If you have no intention of ever modding the keyboard, then go with the Quick Fire Rapid... It's $65 for the MX Blue, and you can get a set of choice Color PBT with the left over funds from anywhere.

I have the ONI with brown switches, and all i can say is that it comes damn close to a filco.
there is no knro with ps2, but instead you get pbt keycaps.

Here is a fairly detailed review/comparison (http://tech.hexun.com/2012-08-26/145144477.html). Surely some thing get lost in translation but it seems to be pretty favorable and you can see how close in build it appears to be to each other. Oni/One are VERY different keyboards from the Race/Poker/Pure and have almost nothing in common.

Is the Oni plate mounted?

yes it is.

I have some white Filco 87s, which look good.
Also, Filco would give you a good reason to buy many key caps. :D :D :D
If you can accept the price, Filco is a good choice.
