My current build, which is only 6 months old has started to ... for lack of better words, bore me.

My keyboard... Is fine. But it's nothing special. Corsair K90 Performance FPS edition.

I'm soon to be HIGHLY modding a BitFenix Prodigy White case. I.E: Cutting HUGE windows in both sides, ordering a custom front panel from BitFenix that has a pink rim, and probably cutting into that aswell.
I intend to order Paranoid's Valentine key cap set that he has on offer.
But.. purely personal opinions obviously:
What keyboard should I put them on? I mean, my prodigy build is *Fingers crossed* hopefully going to be ALL White, black and pink...
So what should I match with it?
P.S: Any mouse options will also be taken into consideration because I currently have a RAT 9 (Which, don't get me wrong.. I LOVE. But the wireless is irking me as of late I.E Running out in the middle of gaming.)
Does anyone know of a white/black/pink gaming mouse?
I currently work at PC Case Gear in Melbourne.. So i'm no stranger to computer parts.. I mean, i'm around them for 8 hours a day, every day. But fresh ideas are ALWAYS welcome. :D

The first thing that came to my mind is a white Leopold.

I wouldn't mind trying a RAT 9, but currently use a G700. It will easily manage a day without dying if you upgrade the battery. Mine has a 2700mah battery, and I have a spare handy if needed, but it can use alkaline as well. I use it A LOT and only had it die on me twice (other than those times I forget to charge it), but I suspect it may be time for a new battery. It looks a bit cheap, and I often like to think it's second rate in quality compared to the older MX Revolution, but after disassembling both, I can say that the G700 is quite well made actually (it just looks kind of cheap).
Good luck on colored gaming mouse. Good gaming mice are not exactly plentiful, and most companies seem to think black and lots of buttons(!) equals a gaming mouse.
As for keyboard... The best depends.
Realistically, once you start down this path, if you like to tinker, your "best" will be the one you build.
Are you wanting a compact, TKL, or TK? Obviously a Phantom, LZ, Kmac, etc will probably rank the best if you went by popular vote, but they aren't exactly practical (hard to get and expensive). On the other hand, if you just wanted practical, the answer would be pretty easy once we knew what you wanted. My big thing is feel, it doesn't matter what it is, if it feels like junk. It also depends what you want it for. For that reason, the switch is most important, however that isn't much of a deciding factor when they all tend to offer the same switches.
If you want just a general recommendation, off-the-shelf, I think the Filco is probably the best. It's well made and classy looking, not to mention compatible with pretty much all keycap sets. It holds no surprises. A cheaper alternative is the Cooler Master QFR. Both are pretty hard to go wrong, especially if you plan on changing keycaps.
My personal setup is in my signature. Filco TKL, Vortex aluminum case, custom feet, Red Alert 2 keycaps, Jailhouse Blues, o-rings and lube. I still need a few more tweaks (it will never be done), but I'm happy with it.

Yeah? I was leaning towards the Ducky Shine II in "Purple" LED's, but they are definitely pink.

Their are two batteries. One lasts about... 8 hours? On a good day. But it's mostly just the inappropriate timing of the actual dying that frustrates me. So I have to grab the one out of the 'charger/signal sender thinger-ma-bobber' and do a quick exchange into the mouse.

Fair point. And that actually makes ALOT of sense, I really don't USE all the keys on the RAT 9, but I do love that there is a place for my pinky and ring finger to sit with the wing on, and for my thumb to be cradled on the other side.

Hopefully the prodigy will be my LAN pc as I go to the Respawn Lan here in Melbourne every time it happens, which is every few months. So TKL would be more practical.

I HATE cherry Blue's. They drive me NUTS. I actually really like the red's in my current K90. They aren't obnoxiously loud, and they allow for my typing fast enough. I don't really trip over them. But then again, though I work at a computer store, i've never actually tried browns, or blacks.

This Prodigy case will be my first mod ever. I've never tried modding keyboards. So I have no clue what I am doing, nor do I really have any skills when it comes to things like that.

The Leopold FC700R came to my mind because since you're in Aus it won't be that difficult getting it, and you can also get it in white/beige. I just find white cases to stand out a lot more, i.e. more "eye catching". :)
And I guess that's your aim since you're going to be cutting two big windows on the Prodigy.
Oh and it's TKL and has PBT keycaps.

RAT9 is **** don't get it. Honestly you should go wired cause it is 10x better than wireless.

You work in PCCG? You guys should seriously send a representive to GH! I bought a few keyboards from PCCG and a few computer parts as well. Good service!

PBT is a type of plastic. It's a lot more durable (takes longer to shine) than the much more common "ABS" plastic you see on almost all keyboards and for me at least, feels a lot better to the touch.
This was the Leopold I was thinking of...

Yeah. I have seen those at work. But would the white from the valentine set match up with that? I mean, would it be 2 different whites and then just look completely off colored? Would it not be a safer bet to go with a black? Though I am getting a white Prodigy.
Also, something that you guys might be able to help me with. I seem to be hitting a wall in this area and it might just not exist all together but:
I've been trying to find pink U channel for about 2 weeks now. And since you all are the modding champs, and seem to know where to get all the good stuff.. Maybe you guys can help me in my search.
Anywho, it's med time for me. I'll be back around 6PM tomorrow my time.
Night night!

Valentine's set would look better on a white board imho. And it would match your pc modding, right? And when it comes to mice, you can try to dye it's case(make sure it's removable). I don't think that modding a mouse would be a problem if you are into modding your entire pc.

This guy's perfect for a ducky shine ii with white LED's.

Leopold fc700 WOULD NOT be good for LAN... It's a painted case... It will surely be destroyed with all the tossing around..
I'm not saying the paint job isn't durable, it's just not LAN durable...
If you're looking for a LAN board, get something you don't care about scratching up,, Like a quickfire rapid. ;D

What is the capacity, and what refresh rate are you using?
On mine, if I crank up the refresh rate, it chews through a 2700mah in a few hours. Taking it down a notch and I can go an easy 16 hours (8-12 with heavy gaming) without noticing a difference. Also, no tools needed to swap batteries, a flick of the finger and the cover is off, pop out the old, in with the new, and op the cover back on. 15 seconds tops.

I can't speak for the RAT 9, I haven't used one, I can speak for the G700
A. G700 operates wired and wirelessly
B. You can enable or disable angle snapping
C. has Omron switches
As for wired or wireless, sorry, but cannot stand using wired.
Sorry, but it does, for all that you gain on reaction time, you lose in cord friction, not to mention I have a severe habit of breaking the internal cord wires. I have done testing and while I can see lag on other wireless mice, but not the G700.
I will NOT go back to wired. Period.
