I know not that many people around here use rosewill, I've had mine for months and it's been working fine.
$56 shipped mx brown full keyboard, not a bad deal

damn son....
I'm tempted to pick one up just cuz it's white, what's a good colored cap for a white board?
-
Nice find. You could buy it just for the switches too. But it's not a bad board by any means. I use a mx Red Rosewill at work.

was wondering, do you feel like the Rosewill board is a lot louder? I dunno why but I get that feel when typing on it, compared to my QFR.

Just tried to order a Rosewell 104 key mx red switch model but could not because newegg won't ship it to IL...
I just want some cheap switches...
Edit: newegg will ship certain rosewell models to IL but not others... rather inconsistent of them.

I haven't noticed any increase in volume. Maybe it's psychosomatic?

These new batches are lower in quality btw. This is based on several that I've opened up.

What differences have you noticed?

the Blacks are $60 before the 20% off. ~50 bucks for a NIB Cherry mech board is by no means unreasonable. My Rosewill with Blacks has been working fine since I got it. Has occasional oddities but usually unplugging and plugging it back in will fix them. (locked up once, and 2 or 3 times it stopped registering keystrokes randomly.)

Does more than two weeks go by without these boards being on sale at NewEgg?

Nope, but not all sales are created equal, either.
The price on that outdated board with blacks is temping. If I didn't already own one i'd be bugging my wife about it.

Anyone know if these are pcb or plate mount?

plate, or at least my RK-9000 was, don't see why they'd do it any different

That it was. Kinda wish I'd bought more than just one now.

Gaahh, wow. That's crazy. Even at $50 I thought this was a decent deal for the switches alone.
-
It was most likely a pricing error considering it was paired with a low end chip that's been outdated for years.

Wow, that's awesome. I hope that happens again, though I kinda doubt it will.
