Title: Which low budget mechanical keyboard

Hey
I've decided to buy a mechanical keyboard because my old rubberdome keyboard starts to fall apart (7 buck rubberdome).
Main usage would be gaming and typing. I read a lot of stuff about mechanical ones and decided it's worth a try.

I just saw the Steelseries 6Gv2 and the Raptor Gaming K1. Both look decent but i can't decide which is better.
The 6Gv2 looks very tall, i don't know wether i'd like that. My old keyboard is very flat.


So the price i am aiming for is about 70-80 Euro max, are there other viable options which i maybe don't know?

The de facto best bang-for-buck keyboard is the CM QFR. :)

It's cheap, easy to find, and well made.

If price is your main concern, then a CM quickfire for a TKL size, or a Rosewill if you prefer full size. I'm not sure if the Rosewill is available where you are though.

I would go for a quickfire tk
I love my ducky shineII tkl with purple LED's though :D

If you can find them, the new Ducky DK2108 boards seem to be of decent quality and fairly cheap, still pretty new so no real "daily driver" reviews out.

Thanks for the advice but i forgot to mention that i'm looking for a QWERTZ-Layout.
I checked some Keyboards and i think the Qpad MK 50 will be my choice as it is available in a fair price and seems to be not as tall as the 6Gv2 which was my preference before ( moreover it has a standard layout, the 6Gv2 has some keys switched in QWERTZ layout which would bother me).

Do you guys think it's a good choice? I read so many threads about different keyboards that i can't decide anymore   :)

If you're looking for a offsale cheap TKL board, then yes, the QFRs are really nice, but be prepared to either do something about the branding (IE latex wraps on the board and new winkey caps) or live with the 10 logos and CM STORMs all over the board.

Thank you guys for helping me, i purchased a QPAD now because i got a gift coupon from a friend who is in a spondored clan.

I'm pretty excited how my first mechanical will be :D

hopefully you didn't pay too much, I think monoprice sells a re branded QPAD for pretty cheap
