Title: HHKB and Realforce Keycap Height
Post by: flacman on Tue, 12 February 2013, 22:01:28
I just received a yellow Enter key from one of the members on gh and after sticking it on - it's of a slightly higher profile than the HHKB Return key making a transition from " to 'return' slightly weird.

Are all coloured (red/WASD cluster from EK) keycaps that fit HHKB designed for Realforce profile?

It'd be good to know before I splash out on some more keys only to have an uneven keyboard surface.

i'm looking at my yellow enter and OEM hhkb enter and they look identical. i think maybe you got a backspace key instead of an enter key?

Nope, there's a laser etched "Enter <-" label on it. It's about 1-2mm taller than the other hhkb keys. Comparing my enter key and the RF one - the former is definitely shorter.
