Title: cherry rackmount keyboard, ebay
Post by: precarious on Thu, 14 February 2013, 09:44:34
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cherry-MX11900-MX-11900-Keyboard-Mouse-Touchpad-Combo-PS-2-PS2-Black-in-1U-Rack-/111012713266

appears to be MX with doubleshots, but don't quote me on that one.  i feel like i've seen this on there before, perhaps it's not such a great price, but i haven't seen too many rackmount cherry keyboards at any rate.

SWEET! I want to get one of these for school's racks (I work in the IT department when I'm not a student) but I'm not sure my boss will go for it. :P

It's just a regular 11900HRMUS stuck in a rack drawer. I guess the price isn't terrible now that they lower the price. That has been on ebay for many month.

I think I just bought a usb version of one of these at a thrift store for two bucks.  Been using it at work, and compared to a Model M I was using it was a little hard to get used to.  The mouse pad is handy as hell, but the only tactile feeback was bottoming out on the board.  It's better for Quakelive than the Model M/F, but for everyday use, I might go back to the space saver M I was using.

$2 is a good deal. The cheapest I got 11900 so far was $10 for NIB, with doubleshots too.

I found it in a thrift store.  It was 2.99 iirc.  I've been using it at work for a few days now and it takes some getting used to, compared to a buckling spring.  It's quieter when I remember to use a lighter touch, but without tactile feedback, I bottom out a lot.
