KBT is a company that makes keyboards and is owned by Vortex. Assuming you're referring to the KBT Pure, that is a 60% board. The KBT Race is a 75% board. Above that is TenKeyLess and Full board size.

As far as I know, KBT stands for KBTalKing.  They partnered with various manufacturers such as Vortex to bring some keyboards to market.  It isn't a layout.  TKL is a layout (tenkeyless).

I really don't think KBT is a company owned by Vortex.  See above post.

I was under the impression that Vortex was the parent company, but they may just be an affiliated manufacturer. Either way, I'm pretty sure he is referring to 60% boards.

No. Vortex is only a supplier for KBTalKing USA. And my understanding is that they are no longer a supplier for a variety of reasons. The current model they're offering (the KBT Pro) is built by Zippy/EMACS.

KBTalKing + Vortex = Pure, Race, Oni, and One. Vortex own the designs of these boards.
KBTalKing + Zippy = KBTalKing Pro. KBTalKing USA was setup by a 3rd party to sell the KBT Pro. They never dealt with Vortex.
KBTalKing didn't "switch" supplier. Vortex still makes the boards mentioned above, since they own the design of the boards. KBTalKing just use different suppliers for different boards.
