Cheap, the BWU is still $80 however. The nostromo is $30 though, decent deal if you wanted to make it into a Cherry Nostromo.

... -_-

I was thinking about it too. My Turtle Beach headset makes a low hissing sound that pisses me off something terrible. I asked their customer support about it and their "Audio superengine" or summat makes an inaudible (to most users) sound.

Razer and Turtle Beach headset quality isn't that great. Best route is to go with a pair of headphones and clip on mic or mod mic.

I have no problems with my Audio Technica ATH-AD900 headphones and a cheap webcam (as a desktop mic).
If you're going for a headset, at least get a decent beyerdynamic one.

Sweet price on the nostromo. How hard is it to add cherry switches to it again?
