CISPA will win out eventually. They'll just keep altering it until it's approved.

Can I please have a summary of the BILL?

I read the article, and I get the basics (threatening the privacy of the Internet and removing Free Speech) of the bill, but I'd like to know the specifics, like who gets targeted or if it's a blanket thing (Probably the latter).

'youngest gher yet'

shouldn't you be in school paying attention right now? You're obviously border illiterate if you cannot read a simple article. Especially considering the subject.

Just leave now? I can't see you helping by writing your congressman with that typical meme attitude. Maybe you can understand:

In this case yes, 'the internet is serious business'

I meant a summary of the Bill...probably should have been more clear.

That comment was rather rude, and I like knowing about these kinds of things.

Yeah RIAA/MPAAmerica! I wish we still had a democracy in America, not a puppet state ruled by corporate interests.

So keep the population aware of what is at stake and let them vote for the guys who believe in freedom of speech.

Maybe it's just me but since when there is privacy on the Internet?

The United States of America is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Pharmaceutical industry, The Motion Picture Association and The Music Industry.

Kickbacks are power.

Brocaps, you forgot the majority shareholder of this corporation, the war industry.  Killing brown people is a $700bn/year industry, and Obama has proudly inherited the CEO position from Bush!  Funny how his supporters got duped by his blatant lie of a campaign, "Change".

America is ****ed, Americans are too stupid and brainwashed to vote 3rd party, and by the time enough people wake up the ministry of love will send a pre-emptive drone to take you out for your dissidence. :(

Why should I tell the internet my SSN, mother's maiden name, send in a DNA sample, scan my retina, name my (non existent) spouse and children, and copy all of my DMV information?  The powers that be already have my name in their corporate database.  Privacy is a lie anymore.

Like I've said.. I'm ok with this if it gets passed... It just means I have to shift some keyboard funding into blu-ray purchases... Not that big a deal. :D
