Title: WTB: Plastic insert in barrel for buckling spring keycaps
Post by: sleepy916 on Tue, 26 February 2013, 18:36:51
I wanted to see if anybody has these extra otherwise I would have to contact Unicomp. They are the black and white plastic pieces on the left. Thanks to webwit for the picture I'm using. I want a couple at least, so if you guys have a bunch let me know.

Those are always in short supply.

Unicomp will sell them, although they are not listed on the website.

Call on the phone and ask a living human how to do it. Order extras, you will use them eventually.

Thanks, I was going to take them from my Model M but the things are stuck in there pretty good. I will probably just contact Unicomp in the near future then.

in addition to what others have said you can submit a ticket to [customer] support where they usually always get back within 24 hours. they have the best customer service pretty much i have dealt with and will answer as long as you keep asking.

as discussed before by fohat if you do not see it on the site does mean they do not have it. ask where they (if in stock) will give you a part number to include on the order form.

submit a ticket to cust service. you can also order them through the blank key form. in the notes write "order is for white inserts, not keycaps". they can shower you in the things.
