Title: Mixed Switch Color Keyboard?

I was just thinking of which switches to use when I build a GH60, currently I use MX Blues on my KeyCool 87 and I really enjoy it for typing day to day. The only time I don't enjoy my blues is when I'm gaming, I find that the WASD keys take too much force to actuate. So then I had a thought, how about I use a medium-stiff switch (Clears) for most of the keys and just have the WASD keys with light switches (Reds).

Would this be a good idea or would it be weird to type on?

Haha indeed, but I think there's a bit of a difference between that and what I proposed :P

Post by: tjcaustin on Thu, 28 February 2013, 17:55:14: The springs in blues and reds are the same weight. Clear springs would be heavier, but if that's ok for typing, go for it there. If blues are too heavy for WASD use, get something lighter like the 55g springs that sherry sells.

Ah ok, thanks for that :) I would probably go with blues again to be honest because I like them, but I haven't tried anything else so i want to mix things up a little :))

I went from blues to clears/blacks.
