Leading Edge BTC 5369 - Capacitive Switches with foil on stem Mechanical Keyboard.
Anyone here already disassembled this guy?
What kind of switchs it has?
never heard about this one.
-
I don't see a picture or link. I think I had that, or one very like it. Mine was horrible, when the foam breaks down, the board is worthless.
-
hmmm, I'm buying these guys only to dismantle and get the switchs.
DELL AT102W KEYBOARD VINTAGE (http://www.ebay.com/itm/170990659647?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649)
black alps switches
BTC Professional AT Keyboard BTC-5139 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/170979467976?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649)
don't know if this one is really mechanical, at least the keycaps are in good shape (seems to be sturdy, PBT?).
MECHANICAL AT Keyboard HEU 292 with YELLOW SWITCHES WORKING !!!! (http://www.ebay.com/itm/170994746902?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649)
I'm not sure - yellow alps?
anyone has more info about these little fellas?

Extremely nice rubber dome, at least mine is. Separate RD pieces on PCB, sliders, Cherry-compatible keycaps (lasered lettering). I'd have to take it out of the closet to find out if it's not ABS, though.

Awesome, I was afraid of this one. 30 bucks for at least 104 good quality keycaps is okay ...
Thanks by the info davkol !

I have the BTC-5100C that I disassembled. Really high quality rubber dome. Feels close to a topre, but not nearly as smooth and minus the 'thock'.
But still, not too bad.

Mine is capacitive foam and foil. Springs, not domes. The foam is still in oddly great shape and feels okay for a linear board. The rest of the board looks trashed though. All yellowed and sharpied.

A dome with PCB??? Wow, didn't saw this setup before.
Two types of sliders and two types of keycaps, removable dome, hmmmmmmmm.
Mine is bigger tough (mea culpa, I started the topic asking about the BTC-5369 but at the time I was trying to bid this auction was already closed - then I got the BTC-5139).
I'll have to wait so so 1 month in order to put my hands on this keyboard but as soon as it arrives I'll open it and I will post some pictures here.
I got it to use it's parts somehow but right now I'm not sure that I will have the balls to exterminate him.
Amazing pictures Bro Caps!
thanks by your attention

Oh mine's a 5339R-0, not 5639.

There is also higher quality version of some BTC 5100 series foam and foil or later individual domes over PCB with doubleshots. Thier doubleshots are not too bad quality and have same profile as SP DCS so it is not too hard to fill in the incompatible ones like the bigass enter, 1.25 esc, bottom row etc. as needed.

I put some pictures of the 5339 up in a new thread (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=40830.0).
