Title: Greetings from Vancouver
Post by: tomato16 on Sat, 02 March 2013, 20:29:39
Greetings!

Before finding this forum, I had no idea where to find a decent mechanical keyboard. I began my journey with a Solidtek ACK-595B. This keyboard was great and space saving but it wasn't mechanical and many of the keys rubbed off over time. After that, I picked up a DSI SUN 88 keyboard (one of the few tenkeyless mechanicals that I could find at the time). However I didn't like the black switches and ended up replacing them with blue ones, a very tedious process. It also didn't have n-key rollover and I found the layout extremely unorthodox.

After lurking around here, I'm ended up getting a Leopold Tenkeyless Otaku with brown switches. I've been using this keyboard for about 2 years now and it as served me well both functionally and aesthetically. However, I don't like blue LEDs, never did. So that's why I signed up. I'm hoping to swap out the LEDs for white diffused ones and maybe post some pictures and a guide.

I look forward to chatting with you all. :)
