I noticed that the Truly Ergonomic’s [NumLock] key can be locked/unlocked by pressing [Left-Shift]+[F12]+[F12] (This is a firmware’s feature not reported in the user’s guide).
When locked, the [NumLock] key have no effect any more (the NumLock state cannot be changed).
[Left-Shift]+[F12]+[F12] must be pressed again to unlock the [NumLock] key…
Do you have an idea of the usefulness of such a NumLock-lock feature ?
Update:
The [Fn] key is locked/unlocked too, along with the [NumLock] key !

Never having NumLock be turned off. It's annoying when that happens, and you go to enter some numbers and start shooting all over a spreadsheet...

Is that a keyboards’ well known feature (that exists on many tenkeyless keyboards) ?

No it's not a known feature of any common board.

In fact, the [Fn] key is locked/unlocked too, along with the [NumLock] key (only the [CapsLock] key stay alive) !
That’s a strange feature…

As alaric said, I don't believe it's a feature of other keyboards. I just stated a usefulness that I could see with that feature.
