When do clear switches come in on dt?

7bit will get them in September, sooo...this time 2020? j/k, but Oct-Nov depending on shipping seems reasonably accurate.

Jeez, thats quite a wait. While I was looking for clears for my poker I stumbled upon Mouser and Jameco, Mouser had them in stock for about .65 each.
I dont think they do anymore though.
Jameco has them for .57 each for 50+, but it says they are available in 9 weeks. Earlier than oct-nov though.

Wow clears cheaper than blacks? I need to decide if I need enough for a TKL, or a TKL and a 60% keyboard. Where were our previous MX Clears purchased from? There were two sales I think, maybe conducted by dirge or demik or someone else with a 'D' name. Maybe it is time for another?

Mouser still has plate mounted clears (MX1A-C1NN) in stock at $.86/switch if you buy 100

Plate mounted switches can be converted to PCB mounted switches without much trouble, right?

Quite the opposite, you can change PCB mounted switches to plate mounted by clipping the stems off the bottom switch housing. But you can't install anything on the plate mounted switched to make them PCB mounted.

edit: I f'd up :)
