Title: Wishful Thinking and Fingers Crossed
Post by: jcrouse on Fri, 08 March 2013, 21:49:36: Well, tomorrow I am traveling three hours to visit a co-worker at his farm. He claims he has a box of about 50 "old keyboards", some with AT connectors and curly cables. He has been in IT for 30 years so I am hoping this turns out to be a worthwhile trip. More to come ....

Ahhh YES, the very BEST Cherry keyboard's ever made. Make sure you get some. Although getting specific key-sets (recent Group Buys here) to cover the whole keyboard can be problematic.

LOL. My dog went to "the farm" when I was a little kid... at least that is what my parents told me.

He had been putting up fencing all day and did not want to drive 45 minutes to go back again. He brought 5 home in the trunk of his car. There are a couple of old ones with white alps switches and a couple of PS2 membranes. I brought one of the alps home. It is in nice shape but I am guessing not worth much. Now I have to go back down in a few weeks.
