I recall that there was a thread or wiki section on "worldwide shopping links", before the forum makeover. Does it still exist? I might be visiting Singapore or perhaps Hongkong, so some pointers to good shopping spots would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be interested in this too - I'm visiting Singapore in August this year :D

Try X-treme Solution in Sim Lim Square in Singapore. http://www.facebook.com/xtremesolutionzone
Just bought a set of gray keycaps here for my Ducky Shine II. Check out their Facebook page for other stuff. They reply fairly quickly to inquiries on FB.

For Hong Kong, the computer malls in Tsim Sha Tsui, (The computer mall, not the cellphone focused one) Mong Kok and Wan Chai have mechanical keyboards for sale. Mostly gaming keyboards, a place in Mong Kok has Duckies and Tsim Sha Tsui has Filcos.
For Topres and other rare stuff, there's a specialist store right beside the Tsim Sha Tsui Computer Mall called Keyboard Hell (If I remember right its across the street in a small walk-in section that is normally filled with Camera equipment). I think its called Keyboard Hell, I posted the exact address some time ago but I forgot it now.

Thanks for the tip - I'll check out the link later on :) A chap on another forum also suggested Sim Lim Square and suggested this:
http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/priceLists
to check up on prices but every time I try to sign up it doesn't work grr... Anyone else used this website with any luck?
Edit: lol - just looked at some of the reviews of Sim Lim Square on Trip Advisor - if I do end up going there I had better have my wits about me!

Haha I know...I just walk around looking pissed / upset and it keeps most people away.
In any case, they almost always make the hard sell so it makes browsing difficult.

Just be careful when visiting Sim Lim Square and also Lucky Plaza. They are famous for scamming foreigners. like making registration fees three times of original fee or just by touching their stuff, you'll have to buy it. ;)

Yea, you need to go hard on them first, dont pay a dime without checking the whole product functionality.
There's one time a guy bought a iPad or something, and he didnt want to pay so much crap fees, so the guy gave the iPad but deleted all the core functionalities like camera, app store, that's how bad it can be......

Thanks for the inputs so far! Can you recommend any good shops in Singapore that sell Topres?

I just tried out these login details from BugMeNot (http://www.bugmenot.com/view/hardwarezone.com.sg) :
Username: memailinator
Password: mailinator
It works for now...not sure how long it will stay usable though.

Check this link for keyboard/tech distributors in SG, you can most prolly find out which shops (where & name) under them selling which products.
