Title: Hello typing fanatics!

New to the forum.  I only found it a few days ago when I began my quest for my first mechanical keyboard. 

I'm going to look around and see the topics.  Is there a single recommendation thread for newbies, or specific types?

my first mechanical keyboard was the razer blackwidow... i found out it was bad bcos it has only 6nkro...

so after research i got myself a 2nd hand leopold for $50 which i really love....

Welcome. I would recommend a Cooler Master Storm keyboard for cherry entry level boards - best bang for your buck.

--My first choice right now is the CM Storm QuickFire TK - Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with BLUE CHERRY MX Switches and Fully LED Backlit.  Its on Amazon for about 90 USD.

I don't mind getting a cheaper one, because I think I would end up wanting at least a 2nd one with other features.  I'm not a gamer, just want something better than my MS Internet KB or my Apple white KB.
