Title: KBC Poker and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Post by: ideus on Sun, 17 March 2013, 23:59:22
I used to suffer some pain in the wrist due to a mild irritation of nerves inside the carpal tunnel, when I began using the small format of the poker I noticed that my wrist relaxed mainly because of the more proper position of the mouse.

Please share your experience if you have found something similar, it may be in the interest of those members of this community that are not that young anymore, like me. 8)

I am very sorry to hear that. Why switch do you use the most?

it's those crappy ass buttons every mouse uses, they use too much force (it's late and the manufacturer is escaping me), mod it with a cherry switch! your gaming hobby will thank you for it.

Omron?
Haha

I do have a broken Intellemouse 3.0
(Broken plastic hinge thing)
Think a cherry would fit?

modding my mice with cherry switches saved my "trigger" finger.

What mouse did you use for the modding?

If you post a picture it may allow some to figure out if cherries may fit it.

I have a humble logitech mouse and I found it very ergo friendly, more than 5 years now.

Not sure if you can see the attached file but doesnt look like moding this mouse will be easy.

I can't tell from this perspective, maybe some one will, or it will be better to post pictures with a close up of the switches your mouse have.
