Title: A travel shoe bag makes a low cost sleeve for the POKER/PURE under $5.
Post by: ideus on Thu, 21 March 2013, 08:18:00
A travel shoe bag can be a great light protection for the Poker, I am using a Samsonite branded now, but I found this one at Amazon that is similar and you can get a pair for less than $10.

It is not a fashion item by all means but it does the work to protect your Poker and your expensive set of key caps if you need to take your keyboard with you inside your briefcase.

I have read the great findings guidelines carefully, but I am still not sure it this post belongs here. Any how, I expect our dedicated administrators to help moving it where it belongs.

It will be good for the community if you post a picture of your solution as well.

This is great, thank you for the heads up, very similar product and even cheaper, because there is no need to buy two.

I don't think "any" mech keyboards should be carried around daily... the stems are so fragile.... if one of the corner keys got knocked against a book or something in a bag, it's done.... m0ar soldering fun*

Hum, so may be a closed corners hard roof should be added to have a portable Poker then.

I carry the HHKB to school, and it does not get damaged at all. I use it with my Chromebook, which has the perfect size compatibility with 60% keyboards. The keyboard in the sleeve actually fits quite comfortably in my bookbag without getting knocked around!

Here's my solution: corrugated sleeve-style box, reinforced with Bondo (fiberglass resin).  I keep the keyboard inside the original microfoam pouch, inside the sleeve.
Sorry for the potato pics.

This is cool! Like a shoe box for the Poker, maybe you could wrapped it nicely and offer it for sale now that the GH60 madness will increase the demand for anything in that size of keyboards.
