I would like to buy two caps of the wyse type in 1.5x size for the bottom row, with ALT legend or blank in black plastic the legend could be in any color. I hope someone has some leftovers of those DS's set bought to harvest the letter keys to fit a modern keyboard. These key caps normally can not be used in a modern cherry based mechanical, unless it were a Topre winkeyless like the HHKB.

I think you're looking for 1.25 mods...but regardless, neither 1.5 or 1.25 white on black Cherry doubleshots are easy to find. You might have better luck looking for moogle kits.

The 1.25x mod set is what I already have, but I wanted to try to combine some 1x and 1.5x at the bottom row, where 2 1x with 1 1.5x at the center fit well, only grip is that at the sides fo the groups 2 mm will be open, but I think that with a cover plate under them that will not be a major issue, I hope I gave you the idea. I already have two keys in that size but they are beige and I need them to be black to match my current set colors.

Oh interesting, I haven't seen anyone done that. But 1.5 white on black mods are probably one of the harder bottom rows to find for Cherry doubleshots haha...good luck man. Might be worth it to pick up the whole set from http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=41270.0 since they don't go up for sale very often.

Thank you for the tip, but $55 is just way too high for use one or two caps . If these kits were better priced I may give them a second thought.
