Title: Hello, everyone!
Post by: woodings on Sat, 23 March 2013, 00:42:34
I'm from Seattle, WA and am so excited to find such a place with all keyboard geeks. I started with mechanical keyboards a few months back. The first one was a Das keyboard non-printed with brown switches. Then I got a Das with blue switches. I would prefer browns over blues. So I customized one from wasdkeyboards with browns. Now it's my daily driver. I recently purchased an HHKB Pro 2 Type-S from EK. The Topre switches feel really nice but I'm not sure if I will make a move. I will probably receive my Vortex ONI with red switches tomorrow. I'm much more confortable with reds when coding. I'm actually thinking about reselling my HHKB and getting a Realforce 87.

Hello, woodings!

Welcome to geekhack.org.

RealForce 87U variable silent, is an excellent choice.

Good to see you're making the jump into tenkey-less boards! Was the best move I made.  Hope you like the ONI.  :)
