Title: Silly-people OF THIS WORLD!

So, after someone has needlessly reported the copyright issue of the Toro GB (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=41171.0) it reminded me how much I hate silly-people; tell your silly-person related story here!

Mine:
I bought a Coke vending machine from an auction and was storing it and someone decided to tell coke who tried to take it off me, what did they gain? (Just like in the Toro GB) NOTHING! Its the same as those daft person who dislike a YouTube video because their videos are awful. Anyhow long story short I took the vending machine to a junk yard had it crushed into a cube and returned it! screw you Coke-a-Cola¸¸™!

Not that great a story but I would love to here you guys' !

That isn't the ending I was expecting.

I hate the #$*&@faces who find it necessary to tailgate me when the road is covered in ice/slush/snow.

I won't be surprised if this begins to happen more often. It's unlikely that SP will want to produce many brands/logos/copyrighted things such as the Starcraft emblems. I believe the double-shot zerg, protoss, and terran emblems were made by SP, but those days are over. We've had it good for too long.

Wait......

So...If I paid you to draw a picture of Mickey Mouse and sell it to me... I can't do that?   Even under the assumption that I'd just be paying you to "draw" and not for the picture itself?

This is weird that SP would give a ****, and quite easily hopscotched via some creative paperwork...

Well...if you sold more than 3000 copies of that picture then I assume you would run some kind of risk.

But yes. I among many hate the guy responsible for this cancellation.

If this becomes a habit it may have more consequences than just this one group buy. Sure, there are a lot of keycaps that use original designs, but there are also a LOT that use recognizable logos and characters that are probably copyrighted.

Couldn't you just make a sales receipt that says explicitly that whatever was Produced is NOT what's being sold, and the buyer is only charged for "SERVICE" ??

On something "really" large, this may not fly in the court, but something like keycaps... I think this would totally be fine.

Your forgetting that SP is making money on the sale, thus capitalizing on the intellectual property.
