Title: Filco releasing keyboards for drug lords

I haven't seen this posted anywhere yet although it's been announced awhile back.
News taken from KBDMania.


Gold or silver plated editions of the filco will be released April 2nd over at iomania.co.kr
No info on pricing but expect them to be expensive.

They appear to be exclusive to the webstore. Apparently they were pretty famous in Japan so iomania decided to put in a special order.
First thing that came to mind were those flamboyant gold plated AK's that drug lords have. lol

I think Filco has officially jumped the shark. Gold, silver will wear off like paint and look ghetto very fast. Wake me up when they offer a solid cast iron housing. Or just better key caps.

In Japan, they sell those as part of the custom Filco set you can make where you can specify the printing type, layout, TKL or not, and switches (And the casing of course).

I really like the look of the silver one. Until now, I was not a fan of most of the case variations filco offers. I liked the redwood, but love this silver.
