Title: [IC] PBT dyesub spacebars with Geekhack logo

imsto has kindly offered to possibly maybe make another run of the dyesub PBT spacebars (6.25x only) dyesubbed with "Geekhack" in cherry font. Currently, only 4 of these exist. I was under the impression that it was far too labor intensive to make a larger run of these, but it may be that imsto has found a simpler way to produce them. If you would be interested in such a keycap, please respond here, as enthusiastically as you can manage ;)

Note that pricing will most likely be over 10$ per cap.

I like how even the mock-up shows the warp in PBT space bars.

I'm in for two, and would like Imsto Blue on White, Red on Gray, or Black on Blue, in that order.

Definitely put me down for a few.

If Imsto can make them again in various sizes in various colours, then it's worth the cost.

Would love some Grey, Black, Blue and White Spacer's in 6.2's and 7's. ;D

His PBT set would see more use if I could get a 7x space-bar. I mean I really wouldn't mind paying $20 for a space-bar right now because I really want to use his set but whatever his loss. ABS keeps on winning :cool:

See if Feng has any leftover Aluminum 7x in Pink, Blue, Orange, or Black. They'll look great with Imsto's caps :)

You bet. When numbers roll in then anyone/everyone will start to listen.

Should go for an all PBT space-bar Group Buy. Please only use the single word "Geekhack" because the whole net knows what this place is.

You know everyone knows "Apple" as one word when really their taxable corporate wording is Apple Incorporated. Now you know why they only mention their one word in marketing. Because it's easier to remember by everyone in every country.

This I would be interested in :) I think the text is a bit too overwhelming on the previous production run.

also, the only cap color available would be blue, and the only size available would be 6.25x.

it looks like there's enough interest for another run, and i've gotten confirmation from imsto that he's willing to make some, so i'll start a gb when i can free up some time. in the meantime, brainstorming time: what should the new design look like?!

The new design should be the same as the old one because that will make the other ones lose value, and that will make sth really happy about market prices not going sky high.

i was thinking it would be cool for the text to wrap around the front, top and back of the spacebar, and then, in smaller cherry-ish text "geekhack.org" to be mixed in some aesthetically pleasing way, probably on the front of the cap on the upper right. i like the 3d pop-up font, but it would also be cool if it were rounded off a bit more, and instead of space invaders, 8-bit keyboards?

someone provide me a png or tiff, 600 dpi, adobe RGB and i'll have a batch made.

as for the escs, would like to do a matching motif to whatever the spacebar ends up being.

Q: why change it up?!? i liked the old spacebars!!

A: i hate making the same thing twice ;)

Yes! My photo was taken outside so it looks more blue in the photo. Also your monitor may be making the first photo look white/beige, but I can assure you that it's blue :)
