Title: Where to get clear and brown Cherry MX switch?

I want to try one clear and one brown Cherry MX switch before I buy a whole set.
WASD does not carry clears; and their browns are out of stock.
Where else can I look?

i don't think mouser ever had whites for sale, that would be about one of the places just to place a single order...

I have a ****load of new browns, 9 used ergo-clears, and I *may* be able to dig a clear out from somewhere.

The_Ed is sending me 20 Cherry MX Browns and an egro clear :).
The generous support from the great people on this forum has been a pleasant surprise and will not be forgotten!

I also put in an order for an ErgoDox kit - my very first mechanical-switch keyboard.
The 20 browns will go on the pinky columns, and 56 Cherry MX Clears on the remaining columns (the kit comes with 76 Clears).

Stock clear springs are almost worthless. I have a **** ton in bags just sitting here. Who would actually put in all that time to mod keyboards and revert back to these heavy springs? Maybe for the spacebar and that's about it.

The_Ed, wondering if you have more mx browns available. I ordered the ergodox with clears, but after reading some comments, it seems that they may be too heavy. I'd like to buy about 80, that way I can use plain browns or combine the two sets to make ergo clears.

I have sold thousands of browns. You don't have to wonder if they're in-stock, you have to wonder if I am caught up in desoldering them. They are 50cents apiece, but I need you to PM me where you live so I can give you the final quote.

Thank you The_Ed.  The brown switches you mailed arrived today ;D.   I was surprised at how much difference there is between the brown and ergo clear.
